Vote Strike

By Christopher R Rice

The most important thing about a Vote Strike is the strike. A Vote Strike is not staying at home and withholding your vote. That accomplishes nothing. And voting has only ensured that one corrupt party or the other corrupt party holds onto power.

If you want a new strategy that will force fair and free elections it's a Vote Strike.

A Vote Strike is like any other (political) campaign: You must become your own media. The only way for a Vote Strike to work is with massive participation, so you must campaign. That means canvassing, going door to door, making phones calls, making/posting yard signs, street signs, holding a discussion/movie night with neighbors and more.

You can also post this URL: to blogs, comments, send to your email list and post to your social media accounts. Become your own media and promote it.

You only have until November then the real strike begins.

Everyone has the same fear: What if "the other side" doesn't participate?

"We have to go to the polls or the other side will and then they'll have a landslide victory for their candidate".

That is not possible. And here's why:

On election day you will be at the polls. You won't be voting. You'll be protesting and disrupting. Now it is illegal to protest at or block someone from polling/voting. That is not why we are there. This is a non-violent protest/strike. (Call your city to see how far away you must be to protest.)

Maybe, you can not take the day off to protest. Maybe you can only run to the polls after work and don't have time to campaign or protest.

That's okay too.

Whenever you show up at the polling place you will see one of two things:

1.) Either everyone will be outside protesting, in which case, you should join them. Or

2.) you will see people going in and voting. And if that is what you see then join them, we've lost, and you are free to:

1.) withhold your consent or

2.) go vote for the candidate of your choice.

Now suppose we succeed and we shut the elections down, then what? First, it does not mean that we are stuck with the current President. He can still leave in January as planned.

Because, even if the President and the Vice President were to die on Air Force One at the same time -heaven forbid, there is a chain of command laid out by the Constitution.

So it would be possible for the President and Vice President to leave office as scheduled. And then hold fair and free elections without corporate financing.

If you do not know how to hold elections without corporate financing let me tell you, that will be the easy part. There's many options. The hard part will be getting the word out by November. Because without the majority of the people participating, we won't succeed.

They can not legitimize a candidate with only five percent of the vote. We can make this election null and void, hold fair and free elections and then vote next November. But we must shut this election down.

Which means: we are no longer Republicans, we are no longer Democrats, Independents or non voters. It means we are no longer Libertarians, right or left. Today, we are all Americans, we stand as one people, one nation, without color, creed or division. We are one, we are America.

This strike is NOT meant to hurt the country in any way but to remove those who have.

God bless America.

Welcome to the Underground

More than half of the world’s population live under autocratic or partly free governments, denied full civil liberties and unable to freely participate in political life.

A country cannot be truly democratic until its citizens have the opportunity to choose their representatives through elections that are free and fair.

Critical development efforts cannot succeed without a legitimate and democratically elected government that is responsive and accountable to its citizens. Elections provide an important opportunity to advance democratization and encourage political liberalization.

For an election to be free and fair, certain civil liberties, such as the freedoms of speech, association and assembly, are required.
